As we approach the end of the year, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on our journey.

As I reflect on the past year, I’m filled with gratitude for the journey I’ve experienced.

This year brought significant milestones—getting engaged, not being offered another contract at my school (blessing in disguise), getting tri-certified in Financial Coaching, and finally deciding to move to another country. While new beginnings can be daunting, I’ve learned that with support and thoughtful planning, we can meet exciting new milestones.

It was through this transformative period that Purse Sense was created. Here is my favorite tool that got me fired up in my finances!

Embracing Reflection and Intentional Planning

As we approach the end of the year, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on our journey.

Reflection allows us to celebrate our successes, learn from challenges, and appreciate the growth we’ve experienced.

I encourage you to take a moment to jot down your highlights from this past year, big or small.

Equally important is setting intentions for the coming year.

What do you want to achieve?

What habits do you want to build?

By setting clear, actionable goals, we create a roadmap to guide us. Let’s embrace this transition and make it a time for intentional growth and new beginnings.

"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey

One of my favorite resources for reflection and goal-setting is "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey.

This classic book provides valuable insights into personal effectiveness and offers a framework for achieving your goals through principles of integrity, fairness, and human dignity. It’s a great read to help you cultivate a mindset for intentional living and planning for the year ahead.

Next Best Steps:

As you embark on this journey of reflection and planning, here are a few actionable steps to consider:

  • Set aside time for reflection: Choose a quiet moment to review your past year and acknowledge your accomplishments.
  • Define your goals: Write down specific, achievable goals for the upcoming year that align with your values and aspirations.
  • Create a plan: Break down your goals into smaller, actionable steps and set deadlines to keep you accountable.
  • Reach out for support: Don’t hesitate to connect with friends, family, or a mentor to share your goals and seek guidance.

In next month’s newsletter, we’ll dive into the theme of "New Beginnings." We'll explore practical strategies for setting fresh financial goals and embracing positive habits to kickstart your new year with confidence.

I’m excited to share insights that can help you navigate this transformative period with ease.
